Linna is a bakery shop in Miyanoura, Yakushima.
屋久島の宮之浦にある素敵なパン屋さん、Linna。
It seemed to be a very popular shop where many breads are sold out immidiately.
All breads are made of home-made yeast, organic fruits, and domestic wheat.
It's open only from12pm to 2pm on Wednesday to Saturday!
How can it be popular just selling for a short time?! We gotta go n find the secret.
人気店だそうで、開店からすぐにほとんどのパンが売れてしまうそう。
自家製酵母、オーガニックフルーツ、国産の小麦を使って作られている。
営業日は、午後12〜2時の、水曜日から土曜日のみ。
たったそれだけの営業時間で、人気店ってどういうこと⁈

We tried to be there 15 mins before the opening time n got the first of the line.
Some people were arriving little by little...
開店時間よりも15分ほど前に到着。
いちばん乗りをゲット。
誰もいないと今日はお休み？とちょっと不安に。
でもその後、お客さんが少しずつ到着して安心。
Linna is doing a reservation service by Email, and many breads were already reserved...!!
We chose 4 pieces of breads_ an Ebisu pumpkin bread, tomato&olive bread, figue&walnut bread and cranberry&cream cheese&salted caramel bread.
All of them are much cheaper than in a big city.
Linnaは事前にEmailでの予約ができるそうで、この日は予約で多くのパンが売れてしまったそう。
でも、いちばんめだったから選択肢は豊富。
えびすかぼちゃのパン、トマトとオリーブのパン、いちじくとくるみのパン、クランベリー・クリームチーズ・塩キャラメルのパンの４つを購入。
どれも150〜200円くらい。安い！
They sell sweets using organic dried fruits, too.
オーガニックのドライフルーツを使った焼き菓子も。
I thought pumpkin would be kneaded into the bread, but actually full of pumpkin paste was inside!
Sooo yummy.
The combination of sweet pumpkin n simple but tasty bread was awesome.
Well, what's next?
えびすかぼちゃは生地に練り込まれてるのかと思いきや、ペースト状のかぼちゃが中にたっぷり！
これめちゃくちゃ美味しい。
とっても甘いえびすかぼちゃと、シンプルだけどうまみのあるパン生地が絶妙。
さあ、次はどれにしよっかな？

Ate up 3 of them on the street at once...

パン生地も美味しくて止まらない。。。

Cranberry one was sweet n salty at the same time. Salted caramel did a good job.
最後のパンは腰を落ち着けてゆっくりいただこ。
クランベリーのパンは、塩キャラメルの塩気が効いていて甘いとしょっぱいを同時に楽しめる。
All breads were much more tasty than I expected.
We tried to reserve some breads next day, but the owner told us it's gonna be closed on that day (;_;)
I also wanted to try a milk cream&fermented butter one which was sold out.
Well, next time hopefully.
Or... it has an online shop, so we can still order at least if you are in Japan.
Good news.
どのパンも期待していた以上のおいしさ。
もう一度味わいたくて、翌日パンの予約を試みたけれど、その日は臨時休業されるとのことで再訪ならず。
売り切れで買えなかった、ミルククリームと発酵バターのパンもいつか食べてみたい。
ちなみに、日本国内なら通販で買えるみたい。屋久島に行かなくてもLinnaのパンが手に入るとは朗報。
〈How to get there〉
It was quite tricky to find this shop.
So here is the information.
1.Take a bus going to "荒川登山口 (Arakawa Tozan Guchi)" and get off the bus at ”旭町(Asahi-cho)”.
2. Pass by ”屋久島 福祉センター 縄文の苑 (Yakushima Fukushi Center Jomon no Sono)” (a welfare center) and turn right.
3.Go straight to the end of the road and turn left.
4. Pass by ”ゆかり幼稚園 (Yukari Youchien” (a kindergarten) and after that, you will find Linna on the left side.
They sometimes get an irregular day off, so make sure if it's open before you go!
〈Linnaへの道順〉
ナビを使ったけど結構迷ったので、行かれる方は参考にしてください。
1.荒川登山口方面のバスに乗り、旭町で降車。
2.屋久島 福祉センター 縄文の苑の前を通り過ぎ、右折。
3.つきあたりまで直進し、左折。
4.ゆかり幼稚園を通り過ぎると、ほどなくして左側にあります。
不定期で休まれることがあるみたいなので、行く前にはブログをチェックしてから行ってみて☆
