Bill Cunningham New York ~movie~

  

Last weekend, I went to see a movie "Bill Cunningham New York".

It is a documentary about a man who is a street fashion photographer of New York Times.
He is 84 years old, and to be surprised, he is running through the town by his bike everyday and looking for the chance to catch the moment.
He loves fashion and he is interested in people who get dressed in their original way.

I was so impressed by his enthusiasm toward his job. His eyes are always sparkling.
He says about his job like "It's not work, it's my joy".
I even envied him that he enjoys his job from his heart.

There are so many types of happiness, and I think he is definitely the one he found his own happiness.

This movie would give you an energy to live real life and a slight hint of finding your own happiness.

"Never retire" is one of things that not everyone can, and that deserves respect.

先週、"ビル・カニンガム＆ニューヨーク"を観てきた。

この映画は、New York Timesでファッション記事を担当しているフォトグラファー、Bill Cunninghamについてのドキュメンタリー。84歳という高齢にもかかわらず、なんと、毎日自転車でニューヨーク中を駆け巡り、シャッターチャンスを追い求めている。

Billはファッションを愛していて、自分なりのスタイルでファッションを楽しんでいる人々にレンズを向ける。

Billの仕事への情熱をとおして、全身全霊で人生を生きている姿に、胸が熱くなるものがあった。いつも目をキラキラ輝かせながら仕事をし、「これは仕事じゃなくて、私の喜び」と言う。
心から自分の仕事を楽しむBillが羨ましくさえ思った。

幸せには数えきれないくらい色んなかたちがあると思う。そして、Billは自分なりの幸せを見つけ出した人だ。

「明日からまた私もがんばろう」っていうエネルギーをもらえる映画だった。
そして、自分なりの幸せを見つけるためのささやかなヒントが含まれていた。

生涯現役ってめちゃくちゃかっこいい。
